Nolbert Reyna named Student Activities Specialist at SOSU
DURANT, Okla. -- Southeastern Oklahoma State University has named Nolbert Reyna as the Student Activities Specialist at the University.
Reyna graduated from DeLeon (Texas) High School, where he played tennis and participated in a number of organizations.
He is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in International Business. Reyna was heavily involved in activities on campus and was a member of the Executive Board of Tarleton Alternative Transportation. He was instrumental in starting this program, which was a designated driving program for the students.
Reyna said he has decided to switch careers, having started out in the banking business.
"I was involved in banking all through college," Reyna said. "After graduation, I was a full-time Mortgage Loan Officer Trainee and I realized banking wasn't the career path for me."
Reyna said one of his goals is to increase and improve Greek life at Southeastern.

Building boom at hospital
The hospital campus is busy with surveyors, earth movers and concrete trucks. New medical offices, a new clinic and a new specialty hospital are in various stages of construction.
"This is the happening place," said Mary Katherine Greenlaw, real estate agent for one of the office projects.
The campus off U.S. 1 in Fredericksburg is already home to more than 90 doctors, who practice in one of four office complexes. A dialysis center, CVS drugstore and a commercial lab also are located there.
The latest construction is taking place in the shadow of the hospital, and, to varying degrees, because of it. But all the projects are being done by independent groups, not connected to the hospital or its parent nonprofit corporation, MediCorp Health System.
